London Welsh won the toss and sent the mighty Plough in to bat.

Solid batting throughout with the openers S.Britto and T.Lonnen scoring 70 before the first wicket. S.Britto caught for 28 runs.  In comes Campbell.  Together Lonnen and Campbell bringing the score to 131 with Tom being caught out for 59, solid innings from him, been doing the business all season. In comes A.Barraclough, 10 runs later Mr S.Campbell caught for 25. D.Pretorius strides out to the pitch, he’s not messing around. A.Barraclough and D.Pretorious partnership broken at 183 runs. Barraclough caught for 19. D.Thomas in to bat, caught out for 1. C.Silvapulle in with a rampaging D.Pretorius. C.Silvapulle caught and bowled for 10. M.Bolshaw in at 8, 3 runs not out. D.Pretorius the glorious with and exciting 80 not out.

In 45 overs the Plough posted 256 runs for 6 wickets.

Easily defendable with the bowling line-up the Plough was fielding.

M.Bolshaw and L.Gray to open the bowling. The only bowlers the Plough needed to demolish the London Welsh batting line-up. Backed up by some sharp fielding the ten-man London Welsh team were steamrolled in 15.1 overs all out for 48 runs. M.Bolshaw taking 4 wickets for 15 runs, standard. L.Gray taking a 5fer with a powerful celebration to shutdown the game 5 for 33.
